WEBSep 17, 2016 · CIPT lands are almost worse than basics in some decks. The tempo hit is frustrating. Of the lands you mentioned, the ravnica bouncelands are the "best" ones by far, because if your opponent isn't running land destruction, they net you card advantage. They are slow, though, and vulnerable to LD. You really don't need a ton of cards.

I'm not entirely sure what you want to use them for, but there is also Murmuring Bosk, which is a Forest that produces black mana, and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth can make Forests into Swamp Forests. WEBOct 12, 2009 · Dual lands, especially the originals, are a great investment. However, Plateau is not worth $50, unless it is Alpha or Beta (which are worth more than $50). As much as I love dual lands, I'd recommend waiting until you find one for a fair price. Check eBay, like others have said. $50 should easily get you two.

WEBJan 17, 2024 · Surveil 1, while an upgrade over scry, is not enough of an upgrade to play lands that have to CIPT. These are not THAT much better than the temples as the number of times you actually get a benefit from being able to bin the top card of your library blind is very small, and the number of times you'll be able to set up the top of your library then play one of these is also tiny.

WEBJul 20, 2011 · In addition, the allied colour pairs get a dual man-land while the enemy colour pairs get a fetchland. I also think that I was originally worried about making 5-colour too easy if I ran 10 fetchlands, but I'm not worried about this anymore.
