WEBDec 1, 2007 · I find the DS phat d-pad and buttons to be much better than the lite's. The DS phat has a large clicky d-pad, so you know exactly when it registers. The lite has a small, spongey d-pad. DS phat also has clikcy buttons. I also prefer the DS phat form factor because my hands are a bit large.
