It’s okay ,neither can I swim also, they never really say but honestly, i would say up to like 12 feet or deeper but it goes from super shallow from like not even 1 to 3 foot then to deep at random times , so just be prepared to be sitting in the tube or if you want to let your feet hang in the water while your arms are on the tube is good also, which is what I did with the help of some vodka lol but the guides will be with you and there are people around so you both will be okay just don’t be tense on the tube like I was while wearing a life jacket at first cause you will float off to the side because it will throw off the balance and that’s what happened to me but I relaxed and took my jacket off and I was fine , but if you feel safe with a life jacket then wear one, but don’t worry you both will be fine , it’s really relaxing and they do a awesome job of making you feel comfortable , you will have fun!

I Prefer the san marcos river, cleaner colder water, Do not know when you plan on visiting, but it stays hot here until Oct, and yet it still will be warm.
