Hello, I would recommend the baths of caracalla and you can either have the 3 - D goggles or the audio guide. you may want to ask when you get there about arriving for dusk for an opera performance. As for skip the line i do recommend the coloseum but try using the company GETYOURGUIDE. we have used then frequently. they have a varied choice of activities and they are reasonably price and skip the line is worth it. if you want to queue for 3 or more hours then visit on your own but that waiting time is reduced to 1 hour or less with skip the line so it really is worth it.
