it is basic but free so worth the visit. Not many colourful flowers but has some native animals like kangaroos and emus. It has a beautiful lake with several waterfalls. That was the highlight. Full review by pointoprove

Gorgeous Central Gardens is beautiful and open to anyone for free. Also it has a free zoo with lots of fun extras Full review by Karen G

How much walking is involved? Is it suitable for those in wheelchairs or can't walk long distances?
A:
You can walk very little if you want to just have a picnic. The animals aren't too far from car park on Merrylands road. And yes wheelchair accessible
