The Boardwalk is pretty sparse as far as shops go. The movie theatre is also long gone. Not too much to see. The pier, however, has Joe's Crab Shack... great food and drinks! People also fish off of … Full review by Donna D

Yes a registered service dog is allowed and usually we have several on the boardwalk area. Remember to bring a portable dish for your dog to drink lots of water, the beach will feel cooler but we have been having very hot weather days here. Many have been above and beyond the 100 degree heat index.
