Best place to park is at the main car park which is signposted very close to The Peacock Inn at Cutthorpe,it’s only about a quarter of a mile from the pub if you come in from Chesterfield,can’t remember off the cost of parking off the top of my head and finally yes there are toilets just down from the car park.
Not sure of the distance but from the carpark then around the 3 resevoirs and back to the starting point takes us about an hour ish...one of our dogs however is getting on a bit and tends …

Hi Jennifer...I also had the same problem with the sat nav...the best way is to postcode the nearby pub The Peacock at Cutthorpe S42 7AS and if approaching from Sheffield it’s about half a mile or so past on the left and is clearly signed...hope this helps....sorry for late reply but it’s about time Tripadvisor informed posters when a question arises...cheers.
We like to go to Linacre with our dogs but we have heard that the water quality isn't very good ie algae.. Does anyone know if this has improved in recent weeks?
