Sorry this is so late, but saw your question, and since it's still before the concert.... The Boardwalk is NOT a fine dining venue. In fact, I wouldn't really call the places 'restaurants.' If you don't mind coming to the shore and getting pizza, Manco and Manco is our favorite, and it's less than a block from the Music Pier. We usually get pizza before an event, and stop for ice cream afterwards (and since we live in Ocean City, we're usually still home by 10:00!!). Our favorites are Kohr Brothers for soft service, directly across the Boardwalk from the Music Pier, or Shrivers Gelato, to your left down the Board walk as you exit the Music Pier, and right across from Manco and Manco, where hopefully you ate dinner. If you absolutely positively want seafood, Ike's is probably the closest to decent seafood. I've had the fish tacos and my husband raved about his soft-shell crab sandwich, both from the location on Asbury, not the Boardwalk. Tell me where you're staying, and I might be able to recommend something off-Boardwalk. Meanwhile, enjoy the show -- we'll see you there!
