A northern suburb of Detroit, Orchard Lake Village is located roughly 27 miles from downtown Detroit, and about 3 miles southwest of Pontiac. The city is mostly surrounded by West Bloomfield Township, with a small northeast border with Keego Harbor. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 2,375.
