Tony Toni Tone was everything! I flew in on three planes to see them!!! The concert didn’t disappoint! Omgggg. I had to see them in their hometown. I really enjoyed myself. Full review by Fal L

Lovely venue, but terrible service. We saw Taylor Tomlinson a few weeks ago - with the operative word being "saw." The audio mix was so poorly done that we could hear less than 50% of her words. I lo… Full review by highway163

The Paramount is a beautiful theatre in the art-deco style in uptown Oakland, California. Great place to see music and theatrical shows. Recently I have had the pleasure of enjoying the music of Li… Full review by Cruiser62569790470
Do people get a room at Marriott, 1/2 mile away, and walk to and from a concert? If not, are there cabs outside when show lets out? I'm going alone and normally at other venues I just sort of start walking back to hotel and discover I am surrounded by others doing the same, which works. Never gone to Paramount for concert though. Don't know the area.

I'm too late to help you Susan, but perhaps it will help others. This area has become very popular and event parking isn't cheap. It was $20 last night for John Leguizamo at the "official" lot at 21st and Telegraph. Don't be fooled by parking scammers who look official but will lead you somewhere sketchy for the same price. If you want something well lit, enclosed, and relatively safe, use the credit/debit card only Oakland city lot at the corner of 21st and Telegraph. Enter on Telegraph between 21st and 22nd. The pedestrian exit is across from the box office. For street parking I would not feel safe off of Broadway. I live here and worked in the area for 9 years.
