Are there any sheds or tables that we can put our foods while my kid goes swimming at the beach?

Was wondering what parking is like please ? Travelling with small children so don't want to walk too far to get to the beach.
A:
There's heaps of parking at Merewether as there's a large car park there. Try parking closer to the southern / lower end as this is closer to the baths.
