Hi, we have a cafe and tea room here at Preston Park: 1) Our Victorian themed tea room is located on our Victorian Street and serves cakes and scones as well as hot and cold drinks. Please note that this is part of the museum experience and museum admission applies (£2.50 Adult, tickets are valid for a year). The tea room sells a selection of gluten free products. 2) Cafe Tees is located in the park and offers a wider selection of hot and cold food, as well as ice cream. This is next to the adventure play area and can get very busy in school holidays. 3) Alternatively if it's a nice day, we have lots of wide open space if you would like to enjoy a picnic in the grounds. Hope this helps and you can come and visit soon. Preston Park Museum & Grounds

Hi, Due to local authority cuts and consideration of the future welfare of the animals which were originally kept in the Aviary it was decided it was no longer feasible to keep animals. Since it closed a number of organisations have expressed an interest to take over the Aviary and change the use of the building. working with the local authority they went through public consultation to then apply for funding to develop the building, unfortunately this has been unsuccessful for different reasons. The local authority is now working on a future plan for the park which will improve the facilities even further, this also includes the Aviary site. Hope this gives you a better insight.
Q:
