Founded in 1928, Seneca Caverns is one of the largest caverns in West Virginia. The cavern has a gift shop that provides shirts, hat magnets, dolls, toys, key rings, glasses and cups.

We loved the caves, never imagined them to be so magnificent ! The tour guide was very informative and funny , lovely shop ( that’s where we bought tickets for cavern tour) to browse as well located… Full review by Radmila S

Tours are only Saturday and Sunday. Why would you show as Open Wednesday through Sunday but then embed the fact that tours are on the weekends only. Full review by Getaway42039169933
I want to comment on Jerry’s review. I am the manager at Seneca Caverns in Riverton, WV, and I think Jerry has our cave mixed up with another cave here in WV. I want to assure anyone coming to Seneca Caverns in Riverton, WV that our electrical is not as Jerry described. we have a certified electrician check out our cave every year before re-opening. All of our wiring is in conduit and perfectly safe.
