All Aboard! Since 1832, the Strasburg Rail Road has provided unforgettable memories and experiences for all ages. Our authentic steam train rides offer a scenic journey through beautiful Lancaster County, PA. Join us for special events - cabaret, murder mysteries, and even an escape room on the train! For the kids, we have Santa trains, Easter Bunny trains, and our popular "Day Out With Thomas" event featuring Thomas the Tank Engine. Groups of ten or more receive special rates on coach/open air train rides, on-site food and beverages, and gift shop items. It's the ideal location for company outings, birthday parties, weddings, and more. We also offer freight services and specialize in steam locomotive repair & restoration.

They are usually pretty good at maintaining the schedule. That being said, unforseen circumstances could cause a change.

Yes, lots of Farmland but also cows, horses & sometimes farmers working in the field; Cherry Crest Farms which is pretty cool outdoor venue with lots of activities for the kids and interesting to see. There's a narration that tells you about the area and things you pass. They offer some snacks and beverages for purchase (in the First Class cars) as well.

I booked online due to covid-19 they didn't offer tickets on site. I went directly to the website to book. Enjoy! Must wear face mask!
