Stay in a cottage once owned by King Henry VIII Grade II Listed Cotswold stone Tudor Cottage is the oldest burgage in Fairford and was once owned by King Henry VIII. The quirky cottage pays homage to the king that once owned it. Uneven floors, Inglenook Fireplaces, Beams and much more character are found within. There are 2 Superking Bedrooms. The Cottage is in the pretty market town of Fairford, which is situated in the beautiful Coln Valley and the Cotswold Water Park. Everything is catered for in Fairford, and guests are able to walk into the town to shop and eat. You can easily join the many beautiful walks in and around Fairford. Take a Picnic with you and stop along the River bank. Further afield is the Roman town of Cirencester, the village of Bibury with its trout farm and the famous Arlington Row, Burford Wildlife Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, and the Spa town of Cheltenham are all close by.

We loved our stay at Tudor Cottage. It is full of character and beautiful things and doesn't really feel like your normal holiday cottage, more like a home. Very well equipped with everything you neeā€¦
