This is a very small zoo set in a wooded park, focusing on the animals of New York mostly. They have a really nice gift shop and many fun things for younger kids to climb on. The size and set-up make… Full review by Ginger B R

Heartbreaking. Enclosures are much too small. Snowy owl desperate to get out and fly. Bears separated. Canadian lynx pacing non-stop. This zoo should be closed down. Full review by Christine C

Hello, Tomorrow (8/31) should be a great day at the zoo. It will be a bit overcast, which the animals often prefer. They are also most active earlier (10am) and later (3pm) in the day; many of the animals prefer to nap through the warmest midday hours. If you are at the zoo between 1230-430, keep an eye out for our ZooTeens - these volunteers will be running the goat petting yard, helping in the butterfly house, and may have some animals out for you to meet. You can also pick up a "ZooQuest" activity at the front desk (which includes a discount at the cafe and gift shop). Have fun! Matthew Holdgate Executive Director

Hello, Admission to the zoo is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $6 for children (age 4 – 12). Children 3 & under free. Family memberships are also available so you can visit the zoo all year for one low price - more info is available at our website. We also have events with discounted prices. For example, on Saturday September 19th, 2015, all military and their families will receive free admission to the Zoo. We also regularly have "dollar days" where admission is only $1; those often take place on Earth Day, July 4th, and in a few weeks on September 7th in celebration of Labor Day. Thank you, Matthew Holdgate, Ph.D. Executive Director
