Hello! You are lucky to be there on tuesday. It’s was grayed because it’s not possible to buy tickets. You save 23 PLN because it’s FREE admission on tuesdays. It's very popular, so try to be there early.
I understand this museum is a little different as it focuses on the suffering of the people, rather than hey battles nearby. Question: full well known by the suffering of Jews and Poles, with respect, does the Museum cover Pomerania ie Danzig before, during and towards the end of the war. If the story is going to be told, it is worth a balanced presentation.

The cost of tickets is about 23 zlotys which is about £5. Easy to get to from Gdynia by train and return ticket will be about 12 zlotys per person so again very cheap and trains are plentiful. The walk from the Central train station to the museum is about 15 minutes. Check opening times as I think its closed on Mondays like many museums in Poland. Allow plenty of time and if you do have time afterwards the Solidarity museum is well worth a visit too
