Place is beautiful. Really nice forest with plenty of shade and escape from the heat. The monkeys are awesome but can be very aggressive. Hide your food and hats. Don’t mess with them. Full review by TravelDoorsOut

One of the highlights of our week in Ubud. Walking round the monkey forest was very calm and relaxing. I went there thinking the monkeys would be trying to steal everything but this was far from the … Full review by TonyW2187

A lovely place to see monkeys close up. It can be very busy so arrive early as you often have to queue for the best photo spots. Do not stare at mo keys or take in sunglasses. Also be wary of getting… Full review by antelopeBucks
We are visiting in a little over a month. Went to purchase tickets and it says they are out of stock, for the next year! Is it day if purchases only? Or tour operators buy all the tickets? Or operator error :-)?

We walked in and bought the tickets - no need to do it in advance.
Hi. We have one big travel backpack and will go through the ubud, is there any safe place there to leave the bag free or for money while taking the walk?

Is it safe to take a 1 year old baby to this sanctuary!?! Do the monkeys come up close to you while walking around!?!
A:
hI there you will be fine, there are plenty of monkey wardens about and the monkeys are not aggressive and just meander around the park doing there own thing.
Hello everyone, I’m very interested in visiting here in the near future and being such I have a few questions, if you have time. In a general sense monkeys are wild animals and I would assume this means there can be some unpredictable behavior. Does anyone know if it would be suitable to visit for a person with poorly functioning motor neurons? This can effect my walking and even talking at times and I am worried the monkeys might respond adversely to something and maybe (not knowing that I am disabled obviously as they are wild) and perhaps injure me? Other than the above concern I am really looking forward to this adventure. Thank you
A:
In my opinion I do not think the monkeys will seek you out. If a monkey seems interested you can turn around and walk away.
