Hello town tours take place at the weekend only at this time of year. They are at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday. It’s an add on to the palace admission fee and it lasts roughly 45mins. So it’s £2 for a member of National trust for Scotland (or reciprocal) and £3 + admission for a non member. Hope this helps!

1 Hour but you can take as long as you like......The Red Lion pub is just along the road and it is very good for lunch!
