There is a lot of good weather in April and also some bad. Seasons differ greatly from year to year. Spring flowers can be spectacular at Nauvoo and I enjoy not having to deal with crowds. Many wonderful sites and activities are available there year round. There are more activities during the summer and especially during the pageant month. If you haven't experienced an Illinois summer, things can get very hot and humid. Mosquitoes can also be bad, but they spray for the pageant. There are two different pageants on alternating days again this summer.
