I visited at the end of September. I booked this outing before getting to Colorado & was informed by email that I needed to be at the launch site by 7am. They kept me updated by text …

I visited at the end of September. I booked this outing before getting to Colorado & was informed by email that I needed to be at the launch site by 7am. They kept me updated by text to confirm everything a day or two ahead of time. In that text I think they said to be there by 7:30 the next morning. I’m not sure about the winter months. But they monitor the weather and wind & have a team to inflate the balloon for take off as well as driving to assist with landing. It’s a very cool experience! Dress warmly ... we froze just waiting to board the balloon. We warmed up inside from the burner above our heads sending hot air up into the balloon. Have fun!

There is a minimum age requirement of 6, but we'll take any height older than that :)

It is best if you go to their website and call the phone number listed there to ask this question. When we were on the flight I believe I remembered that as long as the weather holds, they give rides all year long. It's worth the call :-)
