Visited MOSH and knew there would be Los of children...yep. for the most part we (senior citizens) enjoyed ourselves learning about Jacksonville. Thankful they had handicap parking, which we need.… Full review by devilish_patsy

Many exhibits are just worn out and run down. Many of the “interactive” exhibits don’t work or partially don’t work such as press a bilutton or waver your hand to light up a portion and they don’t wo… Full review by Steve E

Unless you have extremely young children, skip this place. It is small and really lackluster, largely appealing to a very young crowd. Maybe worth an hour of your time if it were free. My son and I w… Full review by sbkouns

There's not much in the way of food right in this area, one Subway shop and Zeuss Pizza, maybe a grill place. (The Chart House is insanely expensive.) The alternate is to walk about a half mile or so down San Marco Blvd to the European Street Cafe, or further down to the square where there's several options. There's good options on Kings Ave (Bearded Pig) or Hendricks, but that's a longer walk. Diagonally across the street from the MOSH museum is the free Skyway monorail. If you got on it there and rode it to Hemming Park you should be able to find some food nearby, sometimes there's a food truck in the park. Sweet Pete's candy right off the park is a fun place for kids not cheap but good quality.
In addition to the travelling exhibition, there is a section where the kids can dig through sand to find dinosaur skeletons. Great for kids 10 and under.
What age children would you say would enjoy this museum? We are thinking about bringing a group of 10 kids, including two babies up to a 7th grader. Literally a stair step as far as ages.

Personally I would have no problem bringing all the children but I believe the older ones will enjoy the museum a bit more.
