Hoping someone can help me, we’re going to be visiting Vienna in late November and just wondered what the best time of day to go to Schonbrunn palace would be (in terms of crowds, weather etc.)? And if anyone has used a Winter Pass, is it worth it and did you buy it at the palace or beforehand? I’m struggling to find a way to buy one online.

Did there used to be an amusement park with rides attached to the palace? I visited the palace in 1999 and also went to an amusement park the same day which I'm confident was within the grounds...

There aren't any rides, but there is a Zoo, a big area of gardens, a Labyrinth, big greenhouse and a more botanical garden as well, plus of course a museum and gallery inside of the palace.
