Trent Dilfer was hardly surprised when his old quarterback Hank Brown made a mostly pristine starting debut for Auburn, avoiding blunders even during stretches where heavy rain was falling.

On Friday afternoon, it was reported that Freeze had decided to make a change at quarterback and would be giving redshirt freshman Hank Brown a shot as his first start. Redshirt freshman Hank Brown will start under center for the Tigers, while junior Camden Brown will start at wide receiver in place of Cam Coleman.

The Tigers offense committed five turnovers in last week's 21-14 loss to Cal. Payton Thorne's four interceptions led to backup Hank Brown getting the start against the Lobos.
