In late December it was announced Carroll was interested in the Bears’ top job, and he even recently completed an interview with Chicago. Now, there is another team inquiring about Carroll’s potential services.

The Chicago Bears plan to interview former Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll for their head-coaching job Thursday, a league source confirmed Tuesday. ESPN first reported the news. The outlet and others also reported Tuesday that the Dallas Cowboys denied the Bears’ request to interview Dallas coach Mike McCarthy for the vacant coaching job.

The Chicago Bears interviewed former Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll for their head coaching job on Thursday. The 73-year-old Carroll is looking to return to the sideline after moving into an advisory role with the Seahawks at the end of last season.
