McDonald already has five sacks, which is more than 15 teams. All of them have come in the last two games and helped spark the Jets to victories.

McDonald was one of New York’s defenders who clearly were playing motivated. On one of his sacks, McDonald pulled out Jermaine Johnson’s sack celebration as a tip of the cap to his teammate who is dealing with an Achilles injury. Even head coach Robert Saleh liked it.

In the Jets’ 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans, their first victory of the 2024 season, Will McDonald IV had a career day. Not one, not two, but three sacks for him. As we turn our attention to the Jets (1-1) and Patriots (1-1), let’s take one last look back now.
