Holding down a job can be hard work — just ask Pharrell Williams. In a new interview with the BBC, the superstar producer revealed that, early on in his life, he was fired from working at McDonald's three times — and, ultimately, it was his love of chicken nuggets that got him the boot.

In an interview with 'BBC Radio 2', Pharrell Williams recalled being fired from McDonald's three times, which was his short-lived stint in fast-food. "I was eating the chicken nuggets," he admitted.

Pharrell Williams is just like Us when it comes to chicken nuggets. The “Happy” singer revealed that he was fired from McDonald’s three times before finding fame as a prolific music producer, including once after he was caught eating McNuggets.

In an interview with BBC Radio 2, the 51-year-old recalled that McDonald’s was the only job he ever had outside of music, and he actually got fired from it three times. Pharrell admitted with a laugh that his love for McDonald's chicken nuggets led to his downfall each time.
