Skygazers will soon be able to see the moon appear larger and brighter than normal for the last time until next year. The fourth and final supermoon of 2024 will reach peak illumination at 3:28 p.m. CT on Friday,

“Skywatchers can see the next full moon, the Beaver Moon, on November 15, starting at 4:29 p.m. EST. This moon is extra special as it’s the final supermoon of 2024, meaning the moon will appear bigger and brighter than usual,” noted NASA.

If you plan on gazing at November's supermoon, make sure you don't miss it. If you do, you will have to wait until Oct. 7, 2025, for a chance to see it again ― the date of next year's first supermoon. The year's other two supermoons will occur in November and December.
