The City of Tallahassee’s administrative offices will be closed in observance of the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
In 1539, Spanish conquistador Hernando De Soto wintered here in Tallahassee, and the first Christmas mass is thought to have been held near Myers Park, close to the Olive Garden on Apalachee Parkway.
