Mattel is pulling its Wicked dolls from some store shelves because of a misprint directing shoppers to a pornographic site. Meanwhile, resellers are listing the products on eBay for up to $500.

Thousands of Mattel’s “Wicked”-branded fashion dolls are flying off shelves, but not because of consumer demand.

Toy manufacturer Mattel has apologized after mistakenly printing the web address of a pornographic site on the packaging of its newly launched “Wicked” dolls.

The toy manufacturing company, Mattel, put out a statement apologizing for mistakenly putting a web address of a pornographic website on packaging for the new "Wicked" dolls.

Toy manufacturer Mattel issued an apology to anyone who bought one of the new dolls tied to Universal Pictures Wicked. The boxes containing the dolls -- which feature the likeness of the movie's stars including Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo -- intended to direct consumers to the movie's site.

The dolls were removed from Amazon and Target after a labeling error linked consumers to a pornographic website.

Toymaker Mattel intended to refer consumers to the “Wicked” movie’s landing page. The “misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children,” it said.

"Wicked" dolls manufactured by Mattel misprinted the promotional movie website wickedmovie.com. The misprint, which left the word movie out of the URL, directed consumers to an adult-rated website. According to The Washington Post,
