Ever since Rishabh Pant was released by the Delhi Capitals before the IPL 2025 mega auction, there have been talks going around that he is likely to play for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming season of the cash-rich league.

CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan has responded to the rumours that Chennai will be aiming to get Rishabh Pant during the IPL 2025 auction. Pant will be one of the big players in demand during the auction.

Players like Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Starc, Jos Buttler, Shreyas Iyer and more are likely to receive the highest bids in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Ahead of the big IPL player auctions, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan has admitted that getting high profile Indian players will be difficult. Five-time champions CSK are in the look-out for a big-name Indian player who could be the face of the franchise in the future and with Rishabh Pant available at the auction,

Kasi hinted at CSK chasing their core group of players instead of going after the big names in the IPL mega auction 2025.

Several media reports had stated that CSK are willing to have Pant onboard right after India’s victorious T20 World Cup campaign while his release from DC further escalated the rumours.
