A truck caught fire in Death Valley National Park as it made its descent down Daylight Pass and Mud Canyon Road, rangers say.

The tractor-trailer’s brakes overheated while it was descending Daylight Pass and Mud Canyon Road, “which is closed to commercial truck traffic,” according to the National Park Service.

A Rivian R1T helped a truck driver get his big rig unstuck. The electric pickup was hooked up to the rear of the trailer. It only took a few seconds to get the semi-truck back on the road.
