Nelson County firefighters injured, trapped after roof collapsed in burning building
The department said a Mayday was issued when a complete roof collapse trapped three Northeast Nelson firefighters and two Nelson County firefighters. A sixth firefighter was reportedly injured while attempting to rescue the others. The firefighters were taken to Flaget Hospital with minor injuries, where they were treated and released.
