Magic: The Gathering's Commander Rules Committee has denied accusations of insider trading following this month's controversial bans. It has been claimed by upset fans that the Commander RC sold off the affected cards prior to the ban to avoid losing out on their value.

These bans are mostly down to each card's ability to create explosive starts for plays, while Nadu, Winged Wisdom has been banned for its ability to make games boring for very little gain.

The result of this Magic: The Gathering Commander ban list update has been passionate outrage by the community. Several change.org petitions have been circulating requesting a reversal of the ban (at 4,676 signatures), and firing the Commander Rules Committee (1,144 signatures).
