Two-time Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom returned to the Texas Rangers rotation for the first time since April 28, 2023, after having Tommy John surgery in June 2023.

Texas Rangers starter Jacob deGrom doesn’t expect to get much sleep Thursday night. The two-time Cy Young Award winner has always had trouble getting to sleep the night before a start throughout his 11-year career.

DeGrom increased his velocity in his first start at Globe Life Field since undergoing Tommy John surgery last season.
