Atlanta, GA, June 18--Home Depot plans to open a new data center with 500 workers as part of a plan to expand its information technology operations, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Quincy City Council has rezoned a 3.7-acre MBTA bus depot for open space use. Mayor Thomas Koch aims to acquire the property from the MBTA and potentially build a youth athletic center.
