The country music singer and BBC Radio Ulster presenter says he his proud his contribution to the entertainment industry has been recognised.

Gulati has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to the cultural industries.

Mikayla Beames, 18, has been awarded a British Empire Medal after founding Team Mikayla following her cancer diagnosis aged four.

Awards under the Royal Victorian Order are in the King’s gift and are bestowed independently of Downing Street.
