A Philadelphia police officer shot and killed an armed man in the Cobbs Creek section of the city Sunday evening, police said.

According to Philadelphia police, officers responded to a home on the 5400 block of Chancellor Street for reports of a disturbance.

Police shot at the man at two separate locations but did not know Sunday night whether he had been hit at both sites in West Philadelphia, including where he allegedly carjacked a pickup truck.
