An Orleans Parish judge on Friday acquitted 14 pro-Palestinian demonstrators who were arrested and charged with a misdemeanor following a protest on Tulane University’s campus.

A New Orleans judge on Friday is expected to hear the case against more than a dozen pro-Palestinian demonstrators accused of remaining in a place after being forbidden, a misdemeanor charge that came after a May skirmish on Tulane University’s campus.
