This Soldiers' Small Book was issued to my maternal grandfather Clarence Bryant, of the Norfolk Regiment, in February 1914. The book was intended to record the soldier's service particulars.

This small book belonged to my father-in-law. Books like this were held by MoD admin. They contained details of a soldier's next of kin and any identifying marks they might have such as tattoos.
