I really think the real Dragon Ball should have as much brutality as Kakumei. I also like the inclusion of Universe 6 saiyans, more badass looking characters instead of the goofy ones we have in Super. Also, I miss when Dragon Ball had serious moments. Super is filled with 80% mickey mouse bullshit.

Sep 26, 2022 · Say what you will about the Super manga or modern DB as a whole, but at least it still feels like Dragon Ball. Kakumei is good enough, especially as a fan work but for the official thing, its tone and writing is way off. Though at least it's being written by someone who properly cares about what they're doing and not just selling a product.

Aug 24, 2023 · Because plot. And the plot for Dragon Ball Super is ass, so Kakumei is even worse at first. There's legitimately no reason for anyone to lock Goku up considering the Angel's should know him asking for the tournament just sped up Zeno's decisions, and the GoDs and Kais should also know that.
