Vintage "looking" mud tires - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet
Apr 26, 2014 · Hey guys, I've been trying to find some radial 15" mud tires that look "vintage." I like the tall skinny look, aka: pizza cutters, but noting too tall. What's the best radial mud tire out there right now that looks like the old mud tires from the 70s'? I like this look:

Jul 9, 2013 · Looking for pics and mounting ideas for a set of old school, state-logo rear mud flaps similar to the ones pictured below. Remember these? My truck currently has a set of vintage, plain black mudflaps that are bolted on way up under the fender, inside the fender well. They hang right behind the rear wheels.

May 1, 2010 · Yo! Old school,...that'd be me! We always used to run one series higher tires in front than in the rear,...so an appropriately wide 60 series would be the "old school" look. My '76 Camaro sports 295/50/15's rear, and 215/60/15's front. You'll probably want a tire wider than 215 for the front of your truck, however. Have fun! Todd. _____

Aug 22, 2009 · Not a very good picture of a set of a Kelly Springfield Safari 255/85R16 tires on our old 1991 chassis cab GMC K3500 tow truck (we were a Kelly Springfield tire dealer at the time). The tires sucked and so did the truck. GM IFS does not work well in a 1 ton 4x4 wrecker. No wonder why all the wreckers today are Ford Stupid Duties.

Dec 19, 2024 · I have had my K20 for 30 years and had the 2" lift and 35's for 20 years. The only time I had death wobble is when I had too much mud in the wheels. With clean wheels it will roll nice and smooth at 70-80 mph. On my Jeep Grand Cherokee the only time I had death wobble was with old flat spot tires. I always blame the tires first _____
