Feb 3, 2021 · I’m not sure they’re USASOC. They fall under the 52nd Ordnance Group and are the only airborne EOD unit the Army possesses, but they’re not formally under USASOC. That’s actually been quite controversial as it means their EOD techs don’t have access to the same level of logistical, medical, and physiotherapy care given to Rangers and SF.

Oct 6, 2018 · They used to hold joint A&S with the 21st, typically once a quarter. They do occasionally assess out of the school house but they also hold it at the 21st compound. Your best bet is to contact either the 21st or 28th and ask about the next A&S at the school house. As far as process, it’s a physically and mentally demanding process.

Most EOD officers get moved to a non EOD position once they hit O3, maybe come back for company command, mayyyybe you’ll be lucky and score an S shop slot in one of our 5-7 battalions, I can never remember exactly how many.
