Sep 11, 2021 · Charger for Watch I go my Apple Watch today. They sent a magnetic USB-C charging cable but no charger. I really don't understand about the different wattages for these chargers but, there is a charger for USB-C cable that is 20W for $19.

Nov 21, 2020 · Since taking it out of the package it has had a consistent problem - it does not recognize the magnetic charger. I have to attach and re-attach the watch several times and also usually plug and unplug the cable to my Windows laptop before the watch reacts and I get the lightning bolt logo signifying that charging is in progress.

Oct 18, 2023 · You need to use an Apple Watch charging puck. Either the one that came with the Apple Watch, one of the Apple accessory Apple Watch chargers, or a 3rd party Apple Watch charger. A MagSafe charger does not work (and I did just put my Apple Watch on my MagSafe charger and nothing happened, so I've even verified this for you).
