Jan 3, 2006 · The biggest 7800 had 144k and the 5200 was 32k. The 7800 does have more bankswitched games then the 5200. The 7800s was capable of doing 512k games with bank switching and the 5200 is a puzzle in that part. The thing is the 7800 was not maxed and I think the 5200 was closer to be maxed out.

The controller was designed to fall-back to dual single-button operation when plugged into a 2600, or when the 7800 console is in 2600 mode. The 2600 two-button hacks and homebrew are based on genesis controllers, where two buttons can be read in 2600 mode.

Dec 20, 2023 · Way better than that 19" 4:3 Zenith television I used to play it on back in the 1980s. Funny... I was going to get an 80" TV... literally the same make / model, just 5 extra inches, and it increased the cost by almost $400 bucks. The 75" was $549 (back in 2021), and the 80% was $949... it was crazy.

2600+ compatibility with other joysticks/arcade sticks?
Dec 2, 2023 · Like John Stamos Mullet said, standard joysticks that are 2600 compatible work. I personally tested 3 standard joysticks from Atari Flashback consoles, they all work. I also tested the Hyperkin Trooper and Ranger controllers, they work too. The Ranger works in both stick and paddle mode, which is handy.
