Feb 2, 2013 · Lighting usually has better crit. Ice has the freezing/slow debuff. Fire is Damage over time. Now don't quote me on that, I am new myself. But it is what I quickly gathered through the forums. That's right, though lightning can induce shock status which increase the damage taken while being shocked.

So I'm going to be trying for a Elemental Witch, yes I will be using 2 totems + my main skill so I'm touching on all three elements that is the idea behind this build. But I'm wondering what three skills I should use, Ice being the main type.

If I have Elemental Equilibrium and my minions are supported by Added Lightning Damage and they hit a monster, does that monster now have +25 lightning resist and -50 fire and cold resist? 2. If I have Elemental Equilibrium and my minion explodes form Minion Instability, does that damage trigger Elemental Equilibrium?

Mar 25, 2014 · Yes. Having 77% instead of 75% max is a 8% damage reduction vs elemental damage. If you run a lvl 20 purity (of fire/light/cold) aura having 81% instead of 79% it is a 9.5% damage reduction. When using a flask (lightning for example) on top of that the difference between 89% and 91% becomes even more: 18.2% damage reduction.

You can end up dealing really low damage with a few huge blows inbetween for most of the time.
