Jun 15, 2021 · Very satisfied with my Garmin InReach. I have the contract service plan and pay 13.67 per month. I’ve had my device 2+ years. I’ve been on the rescuer side of an sos activation and IMO the ability to text with the injured party is priceless!

In the Hoosier national forest with tree coverage thick, I could not get reliable gps fix. Sometimes I could send and receive in twenty minutes or times I had to look for a ridge and clear sky. I sold that unit.

Sep 6, 2020 · I use a garmin inreach for my travels, it’s worth looking into if your going out where there is no way to contact rescue. If you want to hide give you phone to someone at the greyhound station and tell them to use it all they want on their trip, that or tape it under a semi on a cross country trip.
