Oct 12, 2021 · Pan pizzas are fun to prepare and taste great although there are many things to take into consideration, for example: the pan dough alone is around 1500 calories, and will fill you up really fast, whereas hand toss is “healthier” it does not have as many calories.

Feb 2, 2023 · It's made with a dough ball hand stretched and put in a pan with some butter oil, usually prepped ahead of time but not too far in advance. We try and keep a few ready to go at all times. The dough isn't the same as the original crust dough. The secret I think is really in the dough, it's pretty good stuff.

We don’t call our dough hand tossed, Domino’s Australia only does pan pizza. I would argue that if dough comes to the store made, then it’s premade by some other entity, regardless of if that is another dominos business it’s still premade prior to going to the store

The pan pizza at Domino's is a litmus test for how well the store is run. It requires the most effort to get right. My local Domino's used to make them perfectly without having to specify well done. Lately, part of dough is raw with only one or two toppings even when I specify well done despite giving plenty of feedback.

Sep 17, 2021 · Feeding 4, hand tossed pizza, 95% of the time. IG: Colder temperatures favor the Pan pizza, but only up to 3 people. In the warm weather, hand tossed is the way to go. But if you order a pan pizza, try to catch them when they aren't busy with the oven, and ask for it to be well done twice over. Big results.

Apr 1, 2024 · Worked at 3 pizza places and none of them could go a night sending out perfect pizzas but Domino's was the only one I've worked at that would send out pizzas knowing they are wrong. I even saw a manager send out lava cakes with Parm cheese instead of sugar.

I really like handmade pan pizzas when they make them right. For some reason both dominos locations where I live don’t know how to make them properly so I settle for hand tossed. Other flavors of pizza I like would be Extra sauce, chicken, ham, and pineapple. Extra sauce, pepperoni, sausage, and black olives. Extra sauce with double pepperoni.
