After contacting my cable TV provider and re-authorizing my cable card - a requirement if you move it from an InfiTV4 to a 6, or any device to any device (the pairing must last) I was off to the races.

Nov 20, 2015 · On the image of the back of the cable box, you can see where the HDMI is plugged in, the cable coax cable is run in, the power cord and the R-B-G component cable is connect for my outside TV. under the R-B-G cables is another port for a second set of R-B-G cables and the the port for the optical cable is next to it I believe.

However I am planning on using Chromecast in the future and I imagine that might change the situation considering it's plugged into the TV.
