Per the title, I've been trying to find this and I cannot. I've got my Quest 3 hooked up to my PC just fine, but there's no option while using the Link cable or Airlink to go into passthrough. I know its possible using VirtualDesktop, but I was hoping to avoid spending the $20 since I'm pretty content with what Meta have in place as their default.

Sep 21, 2020 · Currently link isnt being utilized to its potential, not even close. 3.1 should do 10gbps wifiy 6 chip in the quest2 would top out at 3.5gbps. still amazing. but technically the link should surpass anything you can do wirelessly. id prob use the link for seated sims and have max quality/latency, etc. wireless for those room scale type games

I use air link for oculus only games and VD for steam games. I prefer VD but sometimes the oculus only games run into some issues. VD is pretty great, but does require a minimum amount of brain power to optimize. It has the cleanest ui, and the best streaming/user/encoding options. Despite what people say oculus link really isn't terrible imo.

May 30, 2021 · switch both oculus software and steamvr to beta. this helped me (*)use revo uninstaller to re-install oculus software if upgrading from a previous headset. fully reset steamvr according to this guide. Try virtual desktop. the compression is noticeably worse but it barely uses any vram. in alyx i have like 6gb/8gb usage unlike airlink/link.
